Abraham Aronovitch: Behind the Obvious
Based in Paris, visual artist Abraham Aronovitch develops an oniro-existential figurative painting through his
major series: Behind the Obvious.
His approach questions contemporary identity by scrutinizing what unfolds behind the evidence of everyday life.
His work now unfolds around four pillars: the dissociation of the mirror, the escapism of mental landscapes, the silence of the flesh, and the geometry of thresholds.
Each canvas is an invitation to perceive what remains of the human within the narrowness of the setting.
